As most of you might have noticed, openmandriva.org was down for around 48 hours, starting July 23rd. Thankfully, things are back up and running once again. The outage was caused due to an apparent loss of connection between our web server and its gateway, though the root cause has not been determined yet. The Infra team is investigating the exact reason(s) behind the outage, and steps will be taken for prevention of such outages in future. We’ll update you once we get back the results of our analysis.
Sites and services impacted were this blog, forums, wiki and issues. Mailing lists, databases and social media accounts continued working fine during that time. All the aforementioned services are back online. We deeply regret the inconvenience all this might have caused you.
